The Journey Begins

Thanks for joining me! I am a wife and a mom. My name is Rebecca Roses. And yes, I did marry into that lovely last name. I have 3 children that make me whole and a little crazy all at the same time. My oldest will be 7 this year and he is the one that first showed me what it feels like to walk around with half of my heart beating outside of my body. His name is Dregon Luca and he is so sweet and has a true first-born/type A personality by nature. My 2nd born son is 3 years old and he is a such a little character and a bruiser. A true middle child, Desmond Ray. And that brings me to the baby. She is the littlest rose in our family and brings such a calm to the craziness that can be little boys. Her brothers already look at her with a fierce protective gaze. It was such a joy to bring her into the world. Her and I had a very interesting journey together from the very beginning. I will be sharing her birth story on a later post for sure. Her name is Della Rain. My husband, Doug, is the one that keeps us all glued together. He is the steady and calm rock for us all. I need to preface that with the fact that I am prone to having a pretty intense personality and can be a little bit sassy at times. He knows all of my quirks and loves me for them anyways. God bless this man. He even goes along with all of my crazy ideas without hesitation. That’s a brief look at my little family. The Little Roses.

It’s been on my heart for a while now to start a blog. I’d like to say that I have the perfect plan behind it, but the truth is, writing has always just been a creative outlet for me. I like to see my thoughts come to life and do more than just sit inside of my head. Life itself is such a beautiful thing that can sometimes be messy, exciting, frustrating, lonely, and fulfilling all wrapped into one. Documenting it for others to read just feels so right.
