She’s one! It seems to go faster and faster with each kid and tends to remind me that the years are so short. With Della being our third kid and only daughter, we decided to be a tad bit extra when it came to her birthday celebrations. I’m talking like a whole week long celebration complete with a party, a cake smash photo session, burger date with her brothers on her actual birthday, lots and lots of LOVE and visits with family and friends.
We seriously couldn’t have pulled it off without the friends and family surrounding us, helping us, pitching in, showing up and being the amazing human beings that they are. I will never forget it!
Since we had so many photos and an awesome cake smash session with Rainy Days Photography here in Edmond, I wanted to post them all here!
I mean, just look at those!! I can’t get over how amazing they turned out and how precious she looks covered in icing. Devin Fischer with Rainy Days Photography is seriously a gem.
In addition to Della’s photoshoot, we had a lot of great candid shots from her party. See, I told you, we (okay maybe only I) was totally extra about her birthday. I even made her smash cake and all the cupcakes from scratch.
I can’t even believe how beautiful her birthday sign turned out. My wonderful friend, April, made it for Della and really blessed us with her talents and her giving heart.
Here’s to a YEAR of Della and many more to come. She has filled our life with so much joy and happiness. The Queen, Dell-y Sandwich, Della Queen, Baby Sister, Pickle Princess, Dell-Y, Dell… you light up our world, girl.
